Shelley Isabel Ritter-Gonzales
Shelley serves as Senior Executive Assistant for Sugarbush Capital. In her role, she manages all administrative aspects for the company.
Before Sugarbush Capital, she served in a similar capacity at Avant Global, a Santa Barbara-based Strategic Advisory & Venture Capital business.
Prior to this, Shelley had a career in Human Resources, having gained her experience from companies in the pharmaceutical and business process outsourcing (BPO) industries.
Shelley began her corporate career in 2012 with Merck Sharp & Dohme (MSD), the Philippine subsidiary of U.S. pharmaceutical giant Merck & Co., handling recruitment, employee documentation and benefits administration. She eventually moved to become an HR Analyst with Concentrix Philippines in 2015.
Until early 2019, she was connected with the Manila-based BPO arm of TPG Telecom, an Australian telecommunications company, where she joined as an HR Generalist in 2016. After a year of leading the HR operations, onboarding, employee/labor relations and recruitment functions, Shelley took over management of the entire department; this comprised two teams – HR and Medical Services – with 16 and nine direct reports, respectively.
Shelley graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, major in Human Resource Management, from the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde in Manila. She also holds a diploma from the International Baccalaureate (IB), where she took up English, German, Economics, Mathematics, Biology and French courses.
Shelley speaks English and Filipino (Tagalog) with native/bilingual proficiency. She also speaks German fluently, and has a basic understanding of French and Swiss.
